CAPA offers services including counseling and support groups and crime victims' services for victims of child abuse. CAPA also seeks to prevent child abuse by providing educational and emotional support for new mothers, while also providing information about ways to recognize and prevent child abuse and neglect. Additional programs range from training in parenting skills to education of children and adolescents about sexual assault and abuse prevention. CAPA also offers community education outreach with topics aiming to strengthen families by promoting positive communication and developing problem-solving skills.
